Workshops

Workshops enable us to invite smaller focused groups of current and future subscribers to discuss specific aspects of the UnityUK service.  Examples of workshops include the National User Forum and Working Groups.

National User Forum

The National User Forum meets annually with OCLC and is an opportunity for the regional representatives to:

  • provide and share information on regional working practices
  • represent regional views on the priority of proposed service developments
  • gain an improved understanding of the service vision
  • shape wider plans for the service
  • understand OCLC’s commitment to UnityUK.

Working Groups

Working Groups are organised to review and discuss specific aspects of the UnityUK service with staff at OCLC.  There are currently seven working groups looking at a range of topics including loan fee management, reports and WorldCat & international lending.  UnityUK members volunteer to take part in the groups which help shape on-going product development and strategy.
